I was concepting and producing seasonal releases and collaborative capsule collections with brands such as Whole Foods Market, American Eagle Outfitters, Accompany, Henri Bendel and Volcom.

Café Ubuntu is a collaboration between Whole Foods Market, Allegro Coffee Company and Kenyan non-profit Ubuntu Foundation. Together they have built a café in Kenya, reintroducing coffee culture to the local community and serving tourists an amazing cup of joe. An African blend sharing the same name is sold in WFM stores worldwide, donating partial proceeds back to Ubuntu.
As Creative Director for Café Ubuntu, I worked on branding in and around the café in Kenya, packaging and shipping materials for distribution of the coffee, a supporting product line sold exclusively at WFM and matching staff uniforms during their annual Café Ubuntu Coffee Campaign celebrating this amazing partnership, social media content, marketing, events, as well as an being an avid shopper myself of Café Ubuntu coffee.
I created the cursive branding for the initial launch in 2013 and the rebrand to the more modern typeface in 2017.
Joining forces in the fight against HIV/AIDS (RED) + Whole Foods Market + Ubuntu Made created a custom reusable coffee sleeve. This one of a kind product featured a custom screenprint, hangtag and point of sale counter display (designed by Cali Girl Creative), sewn by African based non-profit Ubuntu Made, distributed through WFM stores and supporting (RED).

HRFH is an annual fundraiser in LA to support CTC International. I created the branding, marketing materials and environmental signage. Bonus: I got to hang out with the guest of honor, Kristin Bauer van Straten, or as I like to call her, Pam from True Blood.
Ubuntu Water is not just a water bottling enterprise - it empowers communities in Kenya to thrive, provides the lifeblood of health in our pediatric programs which effect over 300 special needs children and their families, and creates meaningful jobs.
“It is not a secret that there is a water and sanitation crisis in Kenya. More than half of the population of the entire country relies on unimproved water sources, and even more use unimproved sanitation solutions and store water in open barrels, leading to breeding grounds for disease-carrying mosquitoes. Having access to clean water during our medical clinics is crucial to providing quality care for our patients.”

Love is Project was an Indegogo campaign to raise capital for a product launch of handmade beaded bracelets from Kenya. The bracelets featured the word love beaded into leather by Maasai artisans working under acacia trees in the Ngong hills outside of Nairobi. The idea behind the love bracelet is that it would connect people across the world, in a story of love. Sharing what loves means to the wearer and posting it on Instagram would create an international connection, joining people together in the greatest love story ever told.
The campaign surpassed it's goal, reaching 536% of the original ask. Through this campaign we securred a partnership with American Eagle Outfitters, and sold our bracelets in their stores in the US and Europe as well as online. Bracelets on AEO's eComm were sold out the first week.
